Supportive hands Support network

Welcome Friend

So, you or someone close to you has been diagnosed with cancer.

You’re afraid.

And confused.

And don’t know where to turn first.

I know—I was there.

In September, 2010, I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the Cleveland Clinic.

I was devastated, and so was my family.

But, now I’m cancer-free, and want to help you through the process.

It’s going to be challenging, but, with good care, a positive mental approach, and support from friends and family, your chances are greatly improved.

That’s why we started Friends from the Start.

To be one of your go-to resources to help you get through this.

To support you and your family right now, right from the start.

We can’t do a lot of things better than what others are already doing. We’re not cancer experts.

But, it’s our hope we can be that friendly advisor who “has been there”, right where you are today. We understand your fear, your anger, your frustration, and, too often, your confusion as to where to turn for answers.

We hope to be

We are focused on serving our neighbors here in the West Shore area of Cleveland. As you complete this journey through treatment, you will develop meaningful relationships and reinforce existing friendships. We hope we can help…starting today, right from the start. Perhaps, once you’re cured, you will want to join us as we become Friends from the Start for someone else.

All The Best, Tom Jelepis
