All of the links in the left sidebar will navigate you to websites about specific cancers or sites like the Mayo Clinic’s that offer comprehensive guides to hundreds of diseases and conditions. All serve as valuable resources in learning about cancer. Some sites focus on very specific cancer topics like chemotherapy – what it involves, how to manage its side effects, how to eat well during treatment, and what to do before and after a course of chemotherapy. One site in particular, A Head of Our Time, is devoted to the issue of persistent hair loss that remains with some cancer survivors long after their course of treatment. While most of these sites provide excellent resources and information for the cancer patient, there are a few that are designed to educate others, such as bone marrow donors. We hope these resources will aid you as you live with, live through and live beyond cancer.
